Welcome and thanks for visiting.
I've always been a big fan of the "things that go 'bump' in the night" and "what if" genres. If you do too, then I hope you've had a chance to read the club and enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it. If you haven't yet read it, I hope you'll check it out. the club is a new look at some old urban legends that most of us know and love...or, at least, loved to tell to scare our friends silly! It doesn't have blood and gore, nor sparkly vampires, but it does take some of our more beloved lore and imagine a "what if" scenario for each of them. the club also gave me a chance to take a very famous Mexican legend, "La Llorona" (The Weeping Woman), and put my own spin on it. Perhaps you have one or two of your own, such as "Bloody Mary" or "The Hook," that you told during late night slumber parties. My friends and I did. We would go to the mirror and call out "Mary Worth" in our deepest, spookiest voices, but nothing ever happened except our getting crossed eyes from trying to see a ghostly reflection in the mirror. Of course, not only were we young, we confused our characters! Poor Mary Worth was a comic strip character who gave advice. Maybe those who got her advice weren't exactly receptive to it, but...
SOME EXCITING UPDATES: If you haven't yet had the opportunity to read the club click on the "Excerpt" tab (above) and have a sneak peek at Amy's entry! Even better, if you're an Amazon Prime member, now is your opportunity. For a limited time, the club is available, at no cost to members, on KindleUnlimited.
CONTEST: You also have a chance to become one of the major characters of my next novel, Groundhog Redemption. Just go to the tab at the top of this page that says "Contest Rules" and carefully read over the rules and regulations that say you're promising to sell me your soul. Ha, just kidding! Please do go first to the rules page to prevent any disappointments or misunderstandings. We would hate to tell you that you've won and then have to disqualify you because you didn't follow instructions. Once you've read and understand, go back to the tabs at the top of the pages and click on "Contest." Follow the instructions to send your answers to five simple questions about the club. If you're the winner, you will be a major character in the action-filled, supernatural novel of life, death and redemption.
